Emailed weekly to our members, the Friday Facts is an up-to-the-minute digest of critical issues and events, ranging from federal legislation and regulation to pending investigations and audits, from emerging trends and best practices to grant opportnities and member-to-member queries.

Each month the Standards Committee meets by conference call, with updates on national accreditation standards and activity, discussion of performance evaluation and quality improvement, and front-line response to policy issues on the associations's agenda. Representatives of the Joint Commission and Council on Accreditation sometimes join the calls to address members' concerns about accreditation policies or practices. All members are welcome to participate, and frank discussion is the norm.

Throughout the year and on any subject, members are encouraged to contact NACBH staff for information and triage. Whether it's connecting you with another member who has developed the same program or solved the same problem, or providing strategic consulting on responding to a state or local policy issue, or tracking down data to support funding requests or lobbying initiatives, NACBH is available and responsive to your individual needs.
